Is LIMUN suitable for school/college students as well as university students?
Yes. Depending on skills, LIMUN is suitable for school or college students in Year 12 and Year 13. We regret that we do not accept applications from younger delegates. LIMUN is suitable for all types of delegates, both beginners and veterans. You are welcome to participate in the conference even if you have never participated in MUN simulations in the past.
There will be training workshops at the beginning of the conference to ensure that you are able to fully participate and enjoy the debate over the weekend.
Throughout the conference there will also be plenty of members from the Secretariat team present to answer any questions you have.
How do I prepare for the conference?
Once you have applied and been allocated a country and committee, you should do research that country’s position on the tolimun.org.uk/limun.org.uk/pics you are going to discuss.
Another useful tool are our Committee Guides, which will be posted in the committees area of the website in late December. You might also want to have a look at the United Nations' own website for more information about the tolimun.org.uk/limun.org.uk/pics on the LIMUN agenda.
