Meet the Secretariat

The LIMUN Foundation is a charity, and we rely on the talent and generosity of amazing student volunteers to deliver our two annual conferences.

In order to continue to deliver two conferences annually, we need the delegates of today to be sufficiently impacted by their experience so they too want to give back by volunteering in the future. If that’s you and you’re interested in joining a future Secretariat, send us an email - we’d be delighted to hear from you!

Meet the 2026 Secretariat

  • Alberto Martino, Secretary-General

Alberto graduated from the London School of Economics with a BSc in Politics and Data Science. Originally from Milan, he has been deeply involved in student life, serving as President of the LSE Italian Society, Vice-President of the LSE UN Society, and Secretary-General of London YouthMUN 2025. Despite his short delegating experience, he has quickly transitioned into chairing and onto the organisational side. This is his second year in the LIMUN Secretariat, having previously served as USG Finance.

Beyond MUN, Alberto has gained experience in consulting and financial services. He is an avid runner, having recently completed the Amsterdam Marathon, and enjoys exploring London’s live music scene.

He looks forward to making this edition of LIMUN a memorable experience for all involved.

  • Gabriel Alzamora Vaquer, Deputy Secretary-General

Gabriel is finishing his Master of European Studies at King’s College London. Last year, he graduated from his bachelor of Liberal Arts with a major in Politics and a minor in Film studies. Born and raised in Mallorca, Spain, Gabriel moved to the UK to undertake his university studies and unexpectedly, continue his MUN career that started back in high school. Gabriel’s first MUN conference in the UK was LIMUN 2022 (yes, 2022!), which confirmed his passion for MUN and LIMUN as a whole. Since then, Gabriel has participated in various MUN conferences across the UK circuit and has served as KCLUNA Training Officer for 2023/2024 period.

Outside of MUN, Gabriel enjoys playing tennis and football, watching film classics and hanging out with his friends. As well, he’s applying to become a diplomat at the European External Action Service. Plan B is to be cast in the TSITP movie (hopefully the first one works out).

Gabriel is looking forward to meeting you all at LIMUN 2026!

  • Thomas Probert, Under-Secretary-General for Academics

Tom is an MA Conflict, Security and Development student at the University of Exeter, having recently graduated his LLB Law degree at the same university. Tom was born in Belfast, but then spent years living in Cyprus, London and Germany before finally settling in the North of England. He has served the Exeter Model UN committee as both Press & Publicity officer in 2023-24, and then their training officer in 2024-25. He is extremely honoured to serve as the next USG Academics for the 27th edition of LIMUN. Outside of MUN, Tom can often be found watching the football as a Chelsea fan, or more likely watching Formula 1 as a Ferrari fan (both of which have been difficult recently), You will likely find him in the Exeter campus bar watching the sports with his friends or also potentially stressing over civil service applications.

He is looking forward to seeing everyone this February for the conference!

  • Samuel Fuller, Under-Secretary-General for Chairing

Sam is a PGCE Physics student at the University of Southampton. He recently completed his BSc Physics at the University of Southampton. He has attended many conferences in this time, including the previous three LIMUNs and has chaired all over the United Kingdom, with highlights including INTERPOL at LIMUN 2025, SCCUN at QMUN 2025, and NATO at SCOTMUN 2024. He is excited to serve as USG Chairing for LIMUN's 27th iteration, and cannot wait for the delegates to meet their stellar chairing cohort.

Besides MUN, Sam is an active member of the Scout Association having been a volunteer since he was 14. He is currently a leader with Griffin ESU in Southampton. He is also currently working towards his DofE Gold award, and his Mountain Leader qualification. In his sparse free time, he can be found reading science fiction or fantasy novels, watching one of many TV shows and movies on his watchlist, or drinking to forget his meteoric workload at any local pub.

He looks forward to meeting everyone very soon!
